    Please Send Me A Card!
     1.       Postcards always spoil my holidays.
    2.       Last summer, I went to Italy.
    3.       I visited museums and sat in public gardens.
    4.       A friendly waiter taught me a few words of Italian.
    5.       Then he lent me a book.
    6.       I read a few lines, but I did not understand a word.
    7.       Every day I thought about postcards.
    8.       My holidays passed quickly, but I did not send any cards to my friends.
    9.       On the last day, I made a big decision.
    10.   I got up early and bought thirty-seven cards.
    11.   I spent the whole day in my room, but I did not write a single card!

Selamat sore. Nama saya Dimas. Saya kira saudara ada kamar yang sudah dipesan utuk saya, kan?

Receptionist
:
Sorry, could you repeat your name, please?

Maaf, dapatkah anda mengulangi nama anda?

:

:
Please wait a minute, sir. I shall check first.

:

Good morning. This is ESBE Publishing Company. I would like to make a reservation for Mr. Muri the General Manager of this company on JAL flight No. 17 from Jakarta to Tokyo, first class, at 8.30 on December 22. Is space available?

Selamat pagi. Ini adalah Badan Penerbit ESBE. Saya ingin memesan tempat untuk tuan Muri Direktur Utama perusahaan ini, di penerbangan JAL, No. 17, dari Jakarta ke Tokyo, kelas pertama, pada jam 8.30 tanggal 22 Desember. Apakah ada tempat tersedia?

A woman
:
Yes, Sir. We have first class space available on JAL flight No. 17, but that flight leaves at 9.20 a.m.
